The Volunteer Toolkit (VTK) lets you streamline planning and focus on the FUN of leading your K-5 troop with simple, online tools. •• Guide girls through fun, girl-led activities with confidence! Get tips on what to say and do with girls at every age. Between Earth and Sky and 5 Flowers, 4 Stories, 3 Cheers for Animals! Journeys, Daisy Petals, Financial Literacy Leaves and My Promise, My Faith. •• Spend less time planning and more time doing! Meeting plans include supply lists and printables. Fill your Brownie year with: •• Customize and track events, meetings and activities! Year Plan view lets you arrange your entire troop year at once and export it to your personal calendar. •• Get great tips and support from Girl Scouts! The Resources tab includes helpful, concise pointers for working with girls and parents, getting out and about, and managing finances. •• Search for activities through the VTK from our Activities calendar and add them to your year plan. (Learn more on page 4.) •• Manage everything from your computer, tablet or smart phone. It’s up to you! Get Started: Once registered and confirmed, Troop Leaders will receive an email with log-in credentials for MyGS. With these credentials, simply: 1 Open your browser (Volunteer Toolkit works best with Google Chrome) and navigate to gswpa.org. 2 Log in to MyGS by clicking the yellow “MyGS” tab at the upper right hand corner of gswpa.org. 3 Enter your username and password. 4 Select “Volunteer Toolkit.” 5 Lead your troop with these exciting new tools! 2 Your Daisy year can include: Wonders of Water, A World of Girls, badges (including new outdoor badges!), My Promise, My Faith, and Take Action Projects. Junior year plans feature: Get Moving! and the aMUSE Journeys, badges (including new outdoor badges!), My Promise, My Faith, and Take Action Projects. Cadette, Senior & Ambassador Troop Leaders: By now you have this planning thing down, but you can still benefit from the resources in the VTK. Check it out to build a custom year plan, find troop information, communicate with parents, manage your finances, and access national resources like the Safety Activity Checkpoints. Multi-level Troop Leaders: Log in to your multi-level custom year plan, and add content from any Daisy, Brownie or Junior levels to your year plan.
