Meet the Camps
CAMP SKYMEADOW
Camp Skymeadow is located at the southern tip of Armstrong County , near Avonmore , about a one-hour drive from both Pittsburgh and Johnstown and about 150 miles south of Erie . Camp Skymeadow is home to our residential horse program ! Situated on 371 acres of grassy meadows and forested hills , it features miles of trails that will challenge girls as they progress through our horse levels . A new 30-horse barn in 2017 provides a modern facility for years to come !
Skymeadow offers residential horseback riding , boating and trip sessions for older girls , horse and water-based sessions for younger girls , family camp sessions and Troop Core Camp .
Check out sessions like Horsin ’ Around , Splish Splash or Thrill Seekers . Other activity options including archery , canoeing , fishing , swimming , backpacking , creek hikes and more .
The camp also boasts four modern heated lodges ( with indoor facilities , electricity and full kitchens ) along with two platform tent units , perfect for rental during spring and fall .

CAMP CONSHATAWBA
Camp Conshatawba is in Summerhill , Cambria County , less than 15 miles from Johnstown , about 70 miles east of Pittsburgh and 185 miles from Erie . It sits on nearly 300 acres of wooded , hilly terrain in the Allegheny Mountain Range , with a stream running through the camp .
Camp Conshatawba offers a full residential summer camp program for girls with high adventure and specialty sessions like Wild Art , Troll Trouble and Mystery Trip . Age-appropriate sessions will run throughout the summer that may include activities like a low- and high-ropes course , a zip line and climbing wall , plus traditional camp favorites like hiking , swimming , arts , archery , theater and more .
Conshatawba is a great camp for troops , service units and groups to rent when resident camp is not in session . There are many activities available for all seasons , including great winter adventures .
Camp Conshatawba has four heated lodges ( with indoor bathrooms and showers , electricity and full kitchens ). Also available for group rental ( but without heat ) are two lodges ( with indoor bathrooms and a kitchen ), two platform tent units and a cabin unit .

CAMP HAWTHORNE RIDGE
Camp Hawthorne Ridge in Girard Township , Erie County , is located 15 miles south of Erie , 120 miles north of Pittsburgh and 185 miles from Johnstown . It boasts more than 200 beautiful , wooded acres and features specialty residential summer camp sessions for girls of all ages in 2017 . In addition to special activities , Camp Hawthorne Ridge offers swimming , archery , gaga ball and exploring the beautiful Falk Run gorge .
Camp Hawthorne Ridge offers a residential program for girls during the summer that includes fun sessions like Tents & Tiaras , DIY-NAMITE , A Week at Hogwarts and horseback riding . We also host camping opportunities for parents to participate with their girls through family and Troop Core Camping .
Camp Hawthorne Ridge is a fun , economical place to stay for troops or families visiting the many attractions the area has to offer like Splash Lagoon , Presque Isle State Park and Waldameer Park and Water World . The camp is a snowy wonderland in the winter with cross-country skiing , snowshoe and sledding offered on property .
Camp Hawthorne Ridge has three heated cabins ( with indoor bathrooms , showers and full kitchens ), two larger heated cabins ( with bathrooms nearby ) and a dining hall . There are also two platform tent units and one cabin unit for use during warmer weather .
