Program Aide — Camp Conshatawba
Are you a born leader ? Ready to put your leadership skills to the test ? If so , Program Aide training is the perfect opportunity to test those skills . Complete your training and work with younger girls in units and at activities around camp . Bond with other leaders and have fun at camp , too . Prerequisite : Must have earned your Leadership in Action award .
Girls Grades : 7-9 Dates : July 23-28 , Sun . -Fri . ( 5 nights ) Cost : $ 300 per person
Counselor-in-Training 1 ( CIT 1 ) — Camp Conshatawba and Camp Hawthorne Ridge
Counselors are pretty awesome ! What ’ s that ? You want to be just like your counselors ? Of course you do ! This exciting camp helps CITs develop skills by learning from experienced staff and then working with campers directly . You ’ ll gain valuable experience in working with children , like program development , creating great camp culture and behavior management . CIT 1 is a prerequisite for CIT 2 .

Counselor-in-Training 2 ( CIT 2 ) — Camp Conshatawba and Camp Hawthorne Ridge

Wrangler-in-Training 1 ( WIT 1 ) — Camp Skymeadow
What better way to spend the summer than to teach younger girls about your favorite topic ? Horses ! You ’ ll shadow horse camp counselors , help wranglers with barn and herd care , share your horse knowledge with participants and also spend time with campers during other classic camp activities .
Prerequisites : Minimum CIT 1 and must be able to provide proof of experience with horses . ( Ex ., a letter of recommendation from a horsemanship trainer or documentation of completion of one or more level 3 or above horse programs at a camp .)

Wrangler-in-Training II ( WIT 2 ) Coming in Summer 2018 !
A WIT 2 must be entering grades 11-12 and successfully completed the WIT 1 program . She ’ s comfortable around horses , can catch , lead , tie and saddle for western riding safely and successfully on her own . She must be able to mount and dismount on her own and ride at a walk , trot , and lope with ease and without fear . A WIT 2 can take direction from counselors , unit leaders and administration staff , and can act responsibly under minimal supervision .

Volunteer-in-Training ( VIT )
When girls guide or teach others , they act as mentors . An exciting part of a Girl Scout ’ s experience is the ability to participate in leadership opportunities . As a Volunteer-in-Training , Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors gain experience by sharing skills , testing knowledge and trying out new leadership roles . The VIT Leadership Course provides challenging , age-appropriate content and a chance to practice working with other teens to plan activities for younger girls .
After taking this leadership course , Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts will be prepared to mentor and help lead Daisy , Brownie , Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts !
