I
n Alberta we’re lucky to enjoy plenty of beautiful weather
in late summer and fall, making it a perfect time to enjoy the
garden. Though many blooming plants will have lost their colour by
then, you can extend the season by adding perennials, shrubs and
trees with great fall colour.
Summer is still a great time to plant, and Greenland’s selection of
shrubs, trees evergreens and perennials is excellent through July and
August. As mid-summer flowers fade, the following plants will add
a bounty of late summer and fall colour.
