Cocoa and Espresso Dusted Ribeye Steak

The name says it all . A dish that sticks to the ribs — and wins over the heart .
Ingredients : 4 Ribeye Steaks 1 / 4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 1 / 4 cup Ground Espresso 1 / 4 cup Brown Sugar 2 teaspoons Ground Cayenne Pepper 3 teaspoons Salt Olive Oil
Instructions : 1 . In a mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients together thoroughly .
2 . If you have thick-cut ribeye steaks – heat the oven to 400 degrees . Otherwise , you can cook the steaks on your stovetop .
3 . Take you dry rub and liberally dust your steaks with the cocoa and espresso rub on both sides and let sit for at 10-15 minutes .
4 . Take a large skillet and heat on medium-high heat with a couple tablespoons of olive oil .
5 . Once the pan is hot , sear both sides of the steak and cook to your desired temperature .
6 . If your steaks are thicker , sear quickly on both sides , then roast in the oven until cooked to your desired temperature .
