Carmen C . Rivera , also known as “ Curvologist Carmen ”, is our nation ’ s only Curvologist ( expert stylist of curvy women ).
Once a multi-media professional , writer and most recently entrepreneur , Carmen began her pro-fessional career over two decades ago as a reporter in the media industry . Once that career ended and after many years of researching the lingerie and adult novelty industry , Carmen suc-cessfully reinvented herself as a leading fit specialist and expert on “ curvy girl ” foundations and fashions in her field .
Carmen owns and operates a small vintage inspired “ luxury boudoir ” called Bliss Fashion Lounge , located just outside of her hometown of Chicago . While Carmen , who still considers herself new the entrepreneur world , is extremely passionate about her lingerie business she stays on top of the latest fashion trends , brands and undergarment accessories that flood the market so to give her clients the professional knowledge they look to her for to get exactly what they need to feel beautiful from underneath it all . “ The feeling of pride I get from a woman , of any shape and size , when she finally fits in her foundations the way she was meant to fit . That shine from within her , is the most gratifying feeling I ’ ve ever felt in my life ,” Carmen said . While Carmen ’ s love of expression by way of the pencil still runs rampant through her veins , she still finds time to write stories on the topic of body image for many local and national publications . Carmen adores spending time with her 3 sons and 2 granddaughters and her Siberian husky , Mr . Biggs and traveling as much as possible . She is also a selfproclaimed comic book nerd and avid lover of 80 ’ s new wave music .
