Miquelon Lake
This lake is located about 65 km
southeast of Edmonton (south
along Highway 21 and then east
along Highway 623).
Summer: Enjoy the wide, sandy
beach, forested picnic spots,
and non-motorized aquatic
activities like kayaking and
canoeing. The area also has an
interconnecting trail system
that is perfect for biking and
hiking. Visit the Miquelon Park
Centre and rent a Discovery
Pack to learn more about
the surrounding nature, or a
geocaching kit to find hidden
caches.
Winter: Cross-country ski along
the lake’s shoreline or through
the 20 km of backcountry trails.
Skijoring (cross-country skiing
with dogs!) is permitted along
certain trails, and snowshoe
rentals are available through the
Park Centre during the week.
