Lipgloss
Everyone has done this once and regretted it. There is nothing more annoying
than strands of hair glued to your lips
which you yank off only to have them
back there three seconds later. Repeating
this process for half an hour until you get
to your destination is up there with spam
text messages and Facebook hashtags
as the most annoying things ever.

Tight skirts
The minute you attempt to sit on your bike,
it dawns on you that this is going to be a
Tour de France kind of challenge. You’re
probably too late to run back in the house
and change so you figure with some tweaking, you’ll be able to make this work. The
harsh truth is – nothing works. You’ll arrive
at your destination, cursing, frazzled and
ready to rip the damn thing off your waist.

Drunk Biking
That’s a thing you ask? Well I certainly
didn’t think so until I rolled into a tree,
pre-drinking from a bottle of vodka while
riding to a nightclub. Ignoring the illegality bit, drunk biking makes for great stories but is never as much fun at the time.
