Visual
artist Natascha Stellmach has been
spent the last decade thriving and commuting between
Berlin and her native Australia.
Of her first impressions of the Berlin art scene, she says
‘What struck me was the lack of parochialism. And perhaps because there were so many established as well as
transient artists, there wasn’t really any one scene. No one
gave a shit what you looked like or who you were – there
was an unpretentious fluidity and freedom that was
seductive, making you believe you could do anything
and be anyone.’
