- anyone can be a startup fan. But while most
current pitching formats just don’t capture this
sense of excitement, GITR does. “It’s famous for its
unique pitching concept - we challenge the statusquo” said Halbe.

World Champion
This year, over 2,000 startups will try to survive
two selection rounds to reach the international
final in Rotterdam, on November 21st. Through
national selection rounds in over 64 countries
and finals in each region of the world, only the
eight most promising pitches will make it to the
international final.
“It is very exciting to partner with the Get in the Ring
initiative. I am certain it will prove equally exciting for
young startups with innovative concepts and sound
plans. We truly believe this competition will help fuel the
passion for achievement and innovation among more
people in the region,” says STC’s Senior Vice President

Four champion investors and an audience of
business angels, VCs, entrepreneurs and captains
of industry will decide who will win the title of
World Champion and take home the coveted
championship belt and, hopefull
