The Euro Banking System Failure-Euro at Risk
Contrary to persisting statements that European Union forms a closed financial system and it is well
guarded against external financial pressures that might appear in the face of bankruptcy of any
systemic Banking Institution, into our case that of Lehman Brothers in USA, Europe and its citizens had
experienced, already by the end of 2014 , and not only into the periphery of Eurozone, a prolonged
period of austerity that had been selected as the driving axiom of any reformations that were
attempted for mitigating the financial crisis that also reached Europe’s premises, just after Lehman
Brothers collapsed.
European citizens still might believe that their mutual interests are well defended against any “financial
enemy” that might be coming out of the blue and luckily European Leadership has already established
all the required mechanisms to fortify an unobstructed way to European Federation and thwart any
problems stemming from unexpected events.
But is the situation as European Union’s Leadership still presents it to be? How certain can we be that
existing mechanisms are efficient to withstand any attack that might threaten European Union’s
common monetary existence? In such occasion we need to “investigate” what happened so far, look for
any breaches that were noticed on the financial defending system and thus we need to apply a TRIPOD
Incident Analysis, so as to draw useful conclusions and visualize the effectiveness of our defense.
The reality today is that the whole periphery of Europe is in financial turmoil as nations like Hellas
(Greece), Portugal, Ireland, Spain and lastly Italy had either signed a memorandum that it is still valid
or has just ended and they have implemented a whole plan for reformations in their public sector that
