Exercising With Parkinson ’ s
Ages 60 & older
10 Classes In this specially designed Parkinson ’ s and Movement Disorder class , clients are encouraged to amplify their movements in several specific movement patterns to improve strength , endurance , balance , respiration , mobility / gait and trunk rotation . Exercises may be performed seated or standing . Agility gait exercises are also often included in the program to promote more high level balance training and reduce risk of falls . Our certified fitness instructors have participated in training from Northwestern Medicine to provide a safe and appropriate workout to participants .
