Classes Vary This program is designed to introduce the game to junior high and high school players based on age and ability . Players will develop agility , coordination , dynamic balance , movement patterns , court positioning , scoring and reliable technique on forehand and backhand , serve , return and volleys . Classes Vary Players will develop complex coordination , body awareness and control , reaction time , understanding of the game situation ( offence , defense and neutral ) in different phases of a point and high percentage shot selection . This player is just starting to play tennis .

This player has limited experience and is still working primarily on getting the ball in play .
2.0
This player needs on-court experience . This player has obvious stroke weakness but familiar with the basic positions for singles and doubles .
2.5 This player is learning to judge where the ball is going although court coverage is weak . When playing with others of the same ability this player can sustain a short rally of slow pace with only modest consistency .
3.0 This player is fairly consistent when hitting moderate paced shots , but is not comfortable with all strokes and lacks execution when trying for directional control , depth or power . Most common doubles formation is one-up , one-back .
Tennis Express 1
Ages 18 & older
8 Classes This program is designed to introduce the game to new players and reenergize former players . Completion of the Tennis Express 1 class a progression into Tennis Express 2 ( Supervised Play ) and or Tennis Express 3 ( League Play ) class . Open to 2.5 players and below .
