This year GDIF ’ s annual “ festival within a festival ” spills out onto traffic free streets with the largest and most intensive programme of street arts in the capital , featuring UK and international circus , theatre , dance , street games , cabaret , live art and mass participation . Highlights include a dance adventure around a bright pink vintage VW campervan , an ingenious mechanical interaction between a robotic machine and a percussionist , the unleashing of an apocalypse across the houses and streets of a model village and an investigation into the secret sounds and music lying beneath your feet . There will be plenty of opportunities for you to join in - including a Hokey Cokey in celebration of GDIF ’ s 21st birthday .
