FAMILY & HOME BRIDAL BLISS Bride: Jessica Harney, Wentzville, Missouri Groom: Scott Broadway, Wentzville, Missouri Wedding Date: June 20, 2015 Photo by Photo Video Image Productions, LLC “On Scott’s 24th birthday, we decided to get dressed up and go to dinner at The Melting Pot, a restaurant we had always wanted to try. There, the hostess escorted us to a secluded booth separated by a private curtain. I assumed we were getting the special treatment because Scott mentioned his birthday when making the reservation. After the waitress explained the fondue experience, she came back to the table with a box of treats, which I thought was for Scott’s birthday. When I opened the box, it was chocolate... and then I noticed a ring box between two strawberries covered with a milk chocolate tux and white chocolate gown. After he got down on his knee and I said YES, he handed me a rose and told me to follow him. He escorted me to another side of the restaurant, where we found Scott’s family and my own, who had driven in from Kansas. It was a beautiful surprise. The night couldn’t have been more perfect! 43 “Within the first few months of our relationship, I knew that I felt for him in a way I had never felt before. I knew that it had to be what ‘in love’ felt like. I couldn’t see a future that didn’t involve him. I know it is a cliché, but you will know when you know. “The thing I am looking forward to most is seeing my groom waiting for me at the end of the aisle. I cannot wait to be a Broadway, and to be able to share the moment with the people closest to us is the ultimate blessing.” SAVVY I SOPHISTICATED I SASSY
