Some even suspect he has coffee running through his veins. A native St. Louisan, he feels blessed to have the opportunity to put his name on something he loves. His passion for quality coffee and dedication to meaningful customer relationships and service is evident in the quick success of his new venture, which exceeded first year sales projections. With more than 33 years of experience in just about every facet of business, Charles has built a strong reputation within the food industry both locally and nationally. He is involved with the American Culinary Federation Chefs De Cuisine Associates of St Louis Inc., The Missouri Restaurant Association, and a board member of The St. Louis Area Hotel Association and the Missouri Hotel & Lodging Association, among others. Charles’ wife, Tina, is also a member of the Dubuque Coffee team. Charles said she has always been a true partner in every sense of the word - professionally and personally. He couldn’t have imagined taking the leap into a start-up venture without her faith, encouragement and support. The couple has two children. Lauren works in Digital Media in Chicago, and Charles Jr. is a junior at the University of Missouri-Columbia, majoring in political science. Charles holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University. After graduating, he held various positions within Ronnoco Coffee Company before becoming vice president of the company’s Foodservice Division. In his limited free time, Charles enjoys playing golf and the hospitality of the many restaurants, hotels and resorts he serves. He carries on his family’s legacy of serving with his dedication to Hôpital Sacré Coeur in Milot, Haiti, a 125-bed premier healthcare facility founded by his father, Ted. 88 GAZELLE STL
