President • Dubuque Coffee Company
T
hose who know Charles T. Dubuque
understand why he was inspired to
launch Dubuque Coffee Company
last spring. Some even suspect he has coffee
running through his veins. A native St. Louisan,
he feels blessed to have the opportunity to put
his name on something he loves.
His passion for quality coffee and
dedication to meaningful customer
relationships and service is evident in the
quick success of his new venture, which
exceeded first year sales projections.
With more than 33 years of experience in just
about every facet of business, Charles has built
a strong reputation within the food industry
both locally and nationally. He is involved
with the American Culinary Federation
Chefs De Cuisine Associates of St Louis Inc.,
The Missouri Restaurant Association, and a
board member of The St. Louis Area Hotel
Association and the Missouri Hotel & Lodging
Association, among others.
Charles’ wife, Tina, is also a member of
the Dubuque Coffee team. Charles said she
has always been a true partner in every sense
of the word - professionally and personally.
He couldn’t have imagined taking the leap
into a start-up venture without her faith,
encouragement and support.
The couple has two children. Lauren works
in Digital Media in Chicago, and Charles Jr. is a
junior at the University of Missouri-Columbia,
majoring in political science.
Charles holds a bachelor’s degree from St.
Louis University. After graduating, he held
various positions within Ronnoco Coffee
Company before becoming vice president of
the company’s Foodservice Division. In his
limited free time, Charles enjoys playing golf
and the hospitality of the many restaurants,
hotels and resorts he serves.
He carries on his family’s legacy of serving
with his dedication to Hôpital Sacré Coeur
in Milot, Haiti, a 125-bed premier healthcare
facility founded by his father, Ted.
