Spirits were high at the recent Whitney M . Young Reception at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten , an annual tradition for the Urban League of Metropolitan St . Louis . President and CEO Michael McMillan welcomed guests to the gathering , which honors the organization ’ s most outstanding donors . The society is named after the late civil rights icon Whitney M . Young , who led the National Urban League to prominence in the 1960s .
