A Season Out of the Ordinary
The 2016-17 season has been anything but ordinary for Manitoba Junior Hockey League fourth-year forward , Adam Wowryk . Coming off a 2015-16 championship-winning season with the nearly unstoppable Portage Terriers , Wowryk felt right at home in Portage . Named as team captain for the start of the 2016-17 regular season , he was under the impression that he would finish his career with the powerhouse Terriers . Fast forward a little over a month-and-a-half , and Wowryk is now serving as a critical member of the Winnipeg Blues . It ’ s been a crazy season .
