15. DO YOU ENJOY DOING THIS? It is satisfying to see the finished product! It makes all the hard work and late nights seem worthwhile. I have been lucky enough to have received lots of positive feedback from near and far about the standard and quality of the programmes. 16. YOU HAVE ALSO SERVED ON SEVERAL LONDON GAA SUB COMMITTEES – WHAT WERE THEY AND HOW DID YOU FIND THESE ROLES? I was secretary of the county board referee’s committee in 2008 and 2009, I was involved in the Board’s communications committee for a few years before becoming the PRO. I have also being involved in the Ruislip Grounds Development committee. All roles have been interesting and at times very demanding. I have recently being appointed as secretary of the 1916 Commemoration planning committee. 17. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A REFEREE IN LONDON? I have been a referee in London since 2006. 18. WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT REFEREEING? For me it’s all about ensuring clubs are able to play games. We have had a shortage of referee’s in London for many years. 38 19.
