Fulham improved their performance in the second half
and kept pace in the scoring stakes but with 5 minutes to
go still found themselves that goal adrift. They were not
able to find the net and Gabriels B finished with aplomb
adding a further two points for a deserved 1-9 to 0-7 victory. It wasn’t a total loss though for the beaten finalists
because on account of St. Gabriels already having a team
in the senior ranks, Fulham Irish get promoted to senior
for next season.
