Trip Planner 2017 Trip Planner for Faith-based Travel | Page 3

Welcome Dear faith leaders and faith travel professionals, Welcome to the 2017 edition of the Trip Planner for Faith-based Travel! I’m glad we’re able to provide you with a tool that offers informative articles and helps you easily find FTA members. Our desire is to deliver an easy-to-use online publication that you can refer to over and over again. The Faith Travel Association made changes in 2016 that have already provided greater value to its growing membership. Previously functioning apart from the National Tour Association, its sister organization, FTA’s collaborative changes in 2016 have brought a seamless suite of benefits to FTA members. With the new membership options, FTA members now have access to more than 2,200 travel companies by bundling a membership in NTA. As you read through the 2017 Trip Planner, be aware of these new benefits and be sure to enjoy articles about: • The 500th anniversary of the Martin Luther Reformation • Using technology to increase your business and provide lasting memories • One of the nation’s newest museums, which explores the history and impact of the Bible • Cross-cultural trips that provide transforming experiences, while developing relationships We look forward to a great future of bridging gaps between faith leaders and the travel professionals who passionately serve their travel needs. Our desire is to create the connection that faith leaders need for planning their church journeys and pilgrimages, as well as conferences, youth trips and mission trips. May your year be fruitful in both business and ministry! Andy Newton FTA Manager [email protected] ntaonline.com 1
