From your P & F
The P&F Committee has been busy in the first half of the year,
reviewing funding proposals from the School and the community. The
use of P&F funds is a well-planned process and all members of the
P&F Committee contribute.
The process commences at the beginning of the school year on
receipt of parent subscriptions of $50, which are paid with your first
invoice. The P&F Treasurer then determines the funding available for
use and commences the collection of funding proposals, which are
presented at the P&F meetings for discussion.
During the decision making process, the Committee reflect on the
purpose of the P&F, which is to serve the School and support the
Community. Our service focuses on supporting three key areas sports, arts and community.
The Committee will then consider whether the tabled proposals
contribute towards the betterment of our children’s experience at
Guildford Grammar School; how best they support the community;
and how the proposal serves the School. The final process is to
ensure the proposal delivers towards the School’s core values. All P&F
Committee members then vote and a majority is required for the
proposal to be accepted. Paren
