A Facebook page has been created
specifically for the interests of Old
Guildfordians. This page will complement the
School’s existing page, with the sharing of
relevant content, but the Old Guildfordians’
page will have a greater focus on news
items, reunions and events that a more
pertinent to former students. We hope you
will help us power up the Association, with
greater connectivity, and like our page at
www.facebook.com/oldguildfordians
for managing and leading all operational and
clinical aspects of specialist visits, optometry
outreach and diabetic retinal screening
programs.
Kane Manera (St 1985-1996) attended the
wedding of Hamish Nicholls (Fr 1991-1996)
who married Whitney at the Manhattan
Penthouse, 80 Fifth Avenue, New York, on
2 October 2015. Also in attendance were
Benjamin Frost (Wb 1990-1996), Christopher
Hart (Be 1989-1996), Rhys Bellinge (Wb
1989-1996), Joshua Finlay (Be 1987-1995),
Ryan Benson (Be 1989-1994) and brothers
Scott Nicholls (Fr 1988-1993) and Bomb
Nicholls. Christopher Binns (He 1989-1996),
who is currently following the World Surfing
Tour, sent a video of Mark Occhilupo wishing
Hamish a happy wedding day.
Christopher Turner (Prep/SG 1991-1996)
became a qualified Surf Lifesaver in October
2015.
Nathan Webster (Be 1991-1996) has been
appointed as a senior research scientist with
the CSIRO. He lives in Melbourne with his wife
Renee.
James ‘Jimmy’ Murphy (St 1990-1997) was
successful in his campaign to be one of two
Councillors representing the City of Vincent
South Ward, Perth, having been elected on 17
October 2015.
Matthe
