Ideas & Images at Flagler College - Hemingway in Havana
Of all the places Ernest Hemingway lived, worked and played, none
had the attraction nor hold on him than his home outside of Havana,
Cuba. This was the place where he crafted some of his greatest
works. Since 2005, restoration of his beloved Finca Vigia, Overlook
Farm, began to manifest itself with the unlikely alliance of Cubans
and Americans. Ideas and Images guest speaker, Mary Werner
DeNadai, an American Historic Preservation Architect, has been on
the professional team that was formed to advise on the restoration,
preservation and conservation of Hemingway’s home. The free
event is at Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College at 7 p.m.
