He has photographed the continental United States from coast-to-coast as well as north to the Canadian Rockies . Vinny is a member of Nikon ’ s Professional Services and Wimberley Professional Services . Vinny and his wife Annette ’ s images have been published in Nature Photographer magazine and he has authored multiple books . Engagements have included Popular Photography Magazine , as well as presenting at Recreational Equipment Inc . ( REI ), St . Augustine , Orlando Wetlands Festival and Grandfather Mountains .

This workshop will cover exposure techniques as well as camera settings . The rookery is the perfect setting to fine tune flight techniques as well as portraits of nesting birds . We will demonstrate ballhead vs . Gimbal head for long lens techniques as well as hand holding with image stabilized techniques . Suggested Gear List : Camera with telephoto lens of 300mm to 600mm , polarizing filter if you have one for your lens , flash for your camera , Better Beamer for your flash if you have one , tripod with head . Ball head or gimbal head recommended . Plenty of memory cards for your camera .
Sunrise Shoot at St . Augustine Lighthouse | Field Workshop

Price : $ 100 | Max . No . People : 10 | Difficulty Level : Intermediate Please note that you must be able to climb 219 steps to the top of the lighthouse with your camera gear . We will be shooting sunrise and twilight from the top of the St . Augustine Lighthouse . A 360 ° view from the top will give us a range of light on the surrounding area . We will review polarizing filters as well as graduated neutral density filters . After sunrise we will photograph the interior of the light house and the spiral staircase as well as the grounds around the lighthouse in early morning light . Suggested Gear List : Lens recommended : 70- 200mm , 24-70 mm , fish eye or extreme wide angle in the 16mm range for inside of the lighthouse . Tripods will help in low light photography .

Photograph the Castillo de San Marcos rising above Matanzas Bay , immortalize the Spanish Renaissance architecture of Flagler ’ s 19th century hotels , and discover endless photo opportunities down ancient back streets of this fascinating city . Be sure to bring your tripod . Suggested Gear List : Camera with wide angel lens , a 24-70mm is a good range , short telephoto 70-200mm , polarizing filter for each lens , graduated filter set . There will be some filters to loan . Also needed are a tripod with a head . We recommend a ball head and a cable release .

You will come away from this seminar with a better understanding of using your histogram along and your highlight indicator so you can get the best exposure of your subject .
