Frank X Tolbert 2 is a well known Texas-based artist working primarily as a painter and draftsman of multimedia works on paper. While utilizing narratives involving personal iconography, ambiguity, and humor, Tolbert’s stylistic mark-making embues his subjects with a characteristic visual language all his own.
