duck hunting season, I
met up with Randy
Pearce, his 13-year-old
son Hunter, and their

Cooper, for an adventure. I brought along my
friend and photographer, Lindsay Lenart, to capture the experience for us. Before we set off for the
Caernarvon launch site, Lindsay and I were trying
to find the right lighting inside Randy’s truck to
take a selfie. After about 10 tries, Hunter complained from the back seat, “Dad, couldn’t we
have found someone ELSE to take hunting
today?” Lindsay and I broke out laughing at his
confident, sarcastic tone, and we knew this was
going to be a spectacular day.
