Mike , it ’ s being in the studio recording . He loves hearing the songs come to life once they are produced and recorded . It ’ s the transformation that gets him super excited .
What is your favorite song on your new album ? ( favorite one to write , record , or just favorite in general ) We both feel so strongly about the song “ Fight For You .” It ’ s the most real , vulnerable song on the record . It was so important for us to write a song about our marriage , and not just any old song , but a real look into our life . We felt like there is such a need in the Christian music market for a marriage song that is honest about struggles and trials .
What is your ultimate hope for this album as it gets out to listeners ? We pray that people hear our album and walk away feeling encouraged and not alone . Sometimes you can feel like the only person in the world who is going through something , but you ’ re not . We want this music to feel like a giant hug , pat on the back , or a face to face coffee date with us .... just sharing our hearts and love for the Lord and encouraging anyone who listens .
