Cases of neglect are never easy in a marriage , and are painful for those experiencing this situation . Neglect occurs in many forms such as emotional neglect , emotional distancing , distractions , or becoming disengaged with your spouse . Most couples don ’ t realize that they are neglecting each other- until it ’ s too late .
Neglect happens for several reasons , and develops over time . It is never overtly intentional , but occurs with these circumstances :
1 . Absence of Quality Time . Two people can be in a room with each other , yet not be engaged . Quality time is spending time with each other , talking , and communicating .
