What State Is Your Mind In ? BY PAUL ANHERT

Romans 12:2 – “ Do not be conformed to this world , but be transformed by the renewal of your mind , that by testing you may discern what is the will of God , what is good , acceptable and perfect .”

At salvation , a sinner becomes regenerated and positionally righteous in the eyes of God . Likewise , the new believer is positionally secure in salvation . Positionally means salvation is secured and God sees each believer clean and free from sin , having the perfection of Christ imputed . Ephesians 1:13 “ In Him you also , when you heard the word of truth , the gospel of your salvation , and believed in Him , were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit .” Though the perfection of Christ is imputed , true perfection that can be grasped and apprehended does not take place until death and resurrection . 1 John 3:2 “ Beloved , we are God ’ s children now , and what we will be has not yet appeared ; but we know that when He appears we shall be like Him , because we shall see Him as He is .” John reveals the final state of the follower of Christ will not be attained until the second coming .
