trying to confuse her . Genesis 3:4-5 “ And the serpent said to unto the woman , Ye shall not surely die . For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof , then your eyes shall be opened , and ye shall be as gods , knowing good and evil .” Now doesn ’ t that sound like the world ?
You : God ’ s Word says that we should not have sex before marriage . The World : That is old school . Of course you have sex before . Don ’ t put God in a box . You wouldn ’ t buy a car without driving it would you ?
As believers , young and new we are to be peculiar , different , and
stand out for our beliefs and our convictions . This is not a call to hate people who may participate in some of the things that were mentioned above . God doesn ’ t call us to do that either . We are to love and to tell the truth , in love . We are to offer others the gift of Christ if they will accept it . And if they choose not to , we need to pray for them while standing on God ’ s Word . We need to trust and obey His Word despite what others may think . This is how we pick up our cross and follow Him . No one said it was going to be easy , hence Matthew 7:13 – “ Enter ye in at the strait gate ; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction , and there are many who enter it . Our gate is narrow and few will find it .” Be one of the few . Spending an eternity in Heaven with Christ is worth it .
