By doing this, Ogi can continue to create trends in the optical industry rather than follow them. 1. What makes OGI unique in the eyewear industry? Ogi Eyewear is unique in the eyewear industry because we make it our mission to deliver value to the end consumer. We have always had an affinity for the highest quality materials available on the market. Our exceptional use of these materials, from components to acetate to metal, is the finest in the industry. 5. What trends do you see emerging in 2015? We at Ogi Eyewear believe that color will continue to be strong throughout 2015 along with metals like titanium and stainless steel. We also believe combination styles will start to become more prominent in the optical industry. 2. How has OGI defined itself within the Canadian marketplace? Ogi Eyewear has defined itself in the Canadian marketplace as providing extraordinary style, incredible Customer Service, direct free shipping, an incredible Canadian sales force and the opportunity to partner with the best Canadian accounts. 3. How does OGI support ECPs within the Canadian marketplace? Our philosophy at Ogi Eyewear is to support independent ECP’s worldwide. Since all of our brands are independent, not licensed brands, ECP's are our fundamental structure. How does OGI choose the next hot frame design? Ogi Eyewear is always following fashion trends worldwide. We are very dialed in to couture designers and are constantly scouring the globe for cutting edge fashion and technology. As I complete this interview, I am actually on my way to Venice where I will be meeting with design factories to ensure Ogi is providing the hottest trends and style to our customers. Ogi Eyewear launched two new brands earlier this year, Bon Vivant and Red Rose, and we intend to continue their very successful launch throughout 2015. Within our other brands, we will be launching subcollections that will directly hit the needs of ECP’s. 7. What style are you wearing right now? I am currently wearing the Frederick by Bon Vivant.
