Chlorophyll, Alkalizing Effects and Gut Immune Health Benefits from Greens†
No doubt you’ve heard of chlorophyll. It’s what’s in green plants giving them their green
appearance. It is plants’ “green blood.” Chlorophyll can convert the sun’s energy into

80 percent of your immune cells are
housed in the gut!

found that the gut immune cells, called
intraepithelial lymphocytes, or IELs, are
protected by and increased in numbers by green
veggies’ chemical makeup. But here’s the kicker:
the green veggies’ compounds activate those precious
immune cells!
