everyday ADDvice February / March 2017 - Issue 3 | Page 4

Happy New Year from the entire team of everyday ADDvice magazine. We welcome you to our third issue, but the very first for 2017. Our team is growing as we move forward in our growth thus increasing our resources for ADHD and mental wellness.

Our previous two issues were welcomed with such positivity and this issue should be no different. Nutrition will be playing a role in this issue as we explore natural remedies for ADHD that are easy to incorporate into your everyday life and diet. Additionally, we will explore how we can all find focus in a world that has immense anxiety – a topic that is so prevalent in today’s society.

In this issue, we will focus on struggles that adults with ADHD face time and again – finding success within themselves as well as in the workplace. We will also look at how those who struggle with mental wellness can overcome their own mental health stigmas.

Finally, for some fun, we have highlighted one of our own ADHDer’s, Howie Mandel, and we’ll take a candid look at his life, struggles and how he coped with both ADHD and severe OCD.

We hope you enjoy our first issue of the New Year and encourage you to contact us with any feedback you may have. Additionally, if you have a story to tell, please send us an email to [email protected] as we LOVE to hear from our readers.

“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
