Developed by experts in the fields of production,
occupational safety, and emergency planning and
guided by feedback from professionals across the
live event industry, Event Safety Access Training
(ESAT) is an entry-level safety awareness training
targeted to anyone involved in the execution of live
events. Comprised of guidance taken from OSHA,
NIMS-ICS, the Event Safety Guide and others, ESAT
is intended to address government and insuranceindustry requirements for workplace safety training
within a robust, event-specific framework. This

introductory program will help to ensure that those
working on an event site have received the training
necessary to raise their level of safety awareness and
know the appropriate response when faced with a
hazard.
Registration for Event Safety Access Training costs
$180 for ESA Members / $225 for Non-Members,
which includes all course materials, certificate of
completion, and registration in the ESA database of
ESAT-trained professionals.
