ROMANIA SERBIA http://www.getonlineweek.eu/romania/ http://www.getonlineweek.eu/serbia/ The GOW 2015 campaign in Romania - locally called “Hai pe Net” - was once again the highlight of the year in terms of digital inclusion. The campaign was very wide in scope allowing partner telecentres, schools and libraries to choose the most relevant digital inclusion topics, starting from the youngest up to the most senior citizens. Although the overarching focus was on those who have never been online before, more complex activities were planned in various locations. 147 telecentres officially joined the campaign, while other institutions were affiliated and supported the campaign through events, meetings and workshops. Free training and certification was provided for the youth choosing to start a career in ICT. This concept will be further developed under the name of the IT Informal School. Romania generated the most registered users on YouRock.Jobs during the campaign and will continue to build its community of users in the future. Over 2,000 students created new profiles and now enjoy the benefit of a well written CV. As a special feature of this year’s campaign, EOS has also introduced a special day dedicated to people with disabilities making public authorities pay attention to the e-accessibility of their websites.
