The GOW 2015 campaign in Romania - locally called
“Hai pe Net” - was once again the highlight of the
year in terms of digital inclusion. The campaign was
very wide in scope allowing partner telecentres,
schools and libraries to choose the most relevant
digital inclusion topics, starting from the youngest

online before, more complex activities were planned
in various locations. 147 telecentres officially
joined the campaign, while other institutions were
affiliated and supported the campaign through
events, meetings and workshops.
Free training and certification was provided for
the youth choosing to start a career in ICT. This
concept will be further developed under the name
of the IT Informal School. Romania generated the
most registered users on YouRock.Jobs during the
campaign and will continue to build its community
of users in the future. Over 2,000 students created
new profiles and now enjoy the benefit of a well
written CV.
