4.0 FRONT OF HOUSE SUPPORT 4.1 Stewarding
As part of the cost of your let , a Venue Team Leader to assist with the management of your event and an appropriate number of front of house stewards ( depending upon the numbers and nature of your event ) will be provided .
Under certain circumstances ( e . g . when there are large numbers of persons with diabilities or children in the audience ), we may require you to have additional stewards . In such cases the cost of additional stewards will be charged back to you .
4.2 Box Office Services
All events will be placed on the Box Office system and all tickets must be sold through the theatre box office unless otherwise agreed with theatre management .
A 10 % commission charge on gross ticket sales is retained by the venue . This is a payment made to the third party which provides the box office service and is non-negotiable .
4.3 Catering and Bar Facilities
Eastwood Park Café , located on the ground floor of the theatre atrium is open to the public from 9am until 30 minutes prior to the closure of Eastwood Pool every day .
The Café also runs a bar service on behalf of the Theatre in the first floor gallery catering for performances , exhibitions and conferences . You have an option of a cash bar or negotiating specific arrangements with the Café proprietor . For children ’ s and family events , an alcohol-free service can be provided . Catering for receptions and other functions can also be made available .
5.0 SUMMARY OF FACILITIES AND SERVICES PROVIDED The following facilities and services are included as part of your hire :
• Access to and use of the stage , backstage , theatre auditorium and dressing rooms
• Use of the Theatre ’ s lighting and sound equipment ( by suitably qualified personnel only .) Some additional fees apply to specialist equipment
• Technical advice from staff technicians .
• A Theatre Technician for a specified number of hours ( see “ Schedule of Fees and Charges ”).
• Appropriate number of Theatre Stewards for performances .
• Use of the Theatre ’ s Box Office services
• £ 5 million of public liability insurance cover .
