"My year as Miss Ohio USA served as an opportunity for me to use my voice to make an impact in my community, my state, and my nation. I was able to serve as an Ambassador for the Pink Ribbon Girls and work closely with their founder, cancer survivor Tracie Metzger. Additionally, I worked with educators, politicians and citizens nationwide to help promote political awareness and inspire Americans of all generations to become more active in the political processes that affect them each and every day. Finally, before heading off to Miss USA, I personally held a fundraiser for the
Wounded Warrior Project. At the event, we raised almost $25,000, all of which went toward supporting our brave heroes who put their lives on the line to protect all of us and The United
States of America."
