What was the winning moment like?
It was like I was in a dream. It’s something that I’ve thought about and fantasized about for years so when they actually called my name I was completely shocked. I remember looking out in the crowd and seeing my family. That’s when I just started crying my eyes out because I was so overwhelmed with emotions. I’m still on cloud nine. I have to keep checking that the crown is there to make sure it really happened.
Other than winning – what was the best experience of the
2015 MISS MICHIGAN USA Pageant? I always love meeting the girls! I’ve met some of my best friends through the MISS MICHIGAN USA Pageant. Everyone is always so nice a supportive of each other. You see girls helping each other with make-up and hair all the time or giving each other pep talks before they go on stage. Not only are the women that compete stunningly beautiful, they are also amazingly intelligent, kind hearted, talented, inspirational women.
