4. What are you most looking forward to at the 2014 MISS TEEN USA® LIVE WEBCAST competition?
"Celebrating the experience!! I remember watching the Miss Teen USA pageant thinking it would just be such a blessing "to be where those girls are." To be among beautiful, kind, smart young ladies in paradise! I don't have any siblings and I've never been on a big vacation, so this experience is like an amazing vacation with my new sisters!!"
5. What is the one thing you want the other Fifty contestants to know about your state?
"My state has 2 peninsulas connected by the Macinac bridge!!"
6. What advice would you give to young women considering entering MISS MICHIGAN TEEN USA® ?
Should one enter?
"The best advice I feel that I could give is to not stand in your own way. I live by the saying "take a chance." I believe that life is full of chances and we should celebrate taking them! The pageant is an amazing opportunity for you to celebrate who you are, challenge yourself, and build an amazing resume for the greatest job there is: LIFE!"
7. What words of wisdom to you have for the class of 2015 competing for MISS MICHIGAN TEEN USA 2015?
"First and foremost: BREATHE! You must relax and find peace in your thoughts. The pageant goes by fast so its important to take your time. The time you have on stage and in front of the judges is your time to express who you are. If you remember to breathe, relax, and let go, your true smile and personality will shine through. Everything you need is already inside of you- TRUST YOURSELF. Another piece of advice is to not compare yourself to others. You must be confident in who you are. It won't eliminate our doubts or worries but I have found that confidence is the strength that doesn't let anything stand in the way of what you want."
