For me, this issue of enTITLEment is like a breath of fresh air. The images of model Iris Robare in our cover shoot have an instant invigorating effect: I want to feel the heat of summer combined with patches of cool breezes knowing that summer is coming to an end and fall is on its way. And I want to do all of those things while wearing a knitted Marni sweater sitting at a marina. Because while we’ve seen the nautical look before, this season’s incarnation takes the feeling of classic freshness it evokes and injects it with a shot of something more spirited. It was so much fun to combine a nautical look for Iris that also included a youthful feeling. Iris will be surrounded by the sea in the beginning of the month at the Atlantis Resort Bahamas as she competes for the title of MISS TEEN USA 2014 LIVE August 2, 2014 at 8:00 PM. All can view her take the runway by visiting www.missteenusa.com. Not only will you be able to view the LIVE webcast but you can meet all the 51 amazing contestants.
I have witnessed firsthand lives changing in an instant and pathways of opportunity unfolding in more directions many young women never dreamed possible. It is such an honor to meet these confidently beautiful women. I simply encourage any young lady that has thought about it to just do it!
