4. What are you most looking forward to at the

2014 MISS TEEN USA® LIVE WEBCAST and the 5-Day competition?

"The thing I'm most looking forward to is having butterflies in my stomach one last time. Competing on stage is an indescribable feeling."

5. What is the one thing you want the other Fifty contestants to know about your state?

"I want the other contestants to understand that Ohio is a big family. There's so much support, whether it's for football, baseball, or even pageants. For example, I can go to any city in Ohio and yell out "O-H," and have others reply "I-O," no matter where I go. There's not many other states that are like Ohio."

6. What advice would you give to young women considering entering MISS OHIO TEEN USA®?

Should one enter?

"As the Nike campaign says, "just do it." Personally, I think every girl should give the Miss Ohio Teen USA pageant a try. If I would have never entered I would've missed out on a lot of opportunities. The Emma that entered Miss Ohio Teen USA has grown into the confident girl I am today; I've got competing in pageants to thank for that."

7. What words of wisdom to you have for the class of 2015 competing for MISS OHIO TEEN USA 2015?

"Be persistent. That's the best advice I can give to anyone wherever they are in life. It took me three tries to win Miss Ohio Teen USA. There were years I didn't make it into Top 15, but I didn't let that stop me. I know many girls who win on their first try, and others who win on their fourth. Keep in mind that just because one door closes doesn't mean another won't open."

8. Describe in ONE word your experience as

MISS OHIO TEEN USA 2014!

"Thrilling!"

I've had endless opportunities to experience thanks to winning Miss Ohio Teen USA 2014. These experiences wouldn't happen if I would've never tried the pageant; just like not experiencing a thrilling roller coaster if I chose not to ride it. These memories are going to last a lifetime.
