Fifty-one women will compete in front of millions of viewers, in over 170 countries at the 2014 MISS USA® Pageant which will air LIVE on NBC June 8, 2014 from the Baton Rouge River Center! The titles at the Michigan level along with MISS USA®, MISS TEEN USA® and MISS UNIVERSE® include travel, appearances, promotional events, photo shoots, representation and opportunities of a lifetime! MISS USA receives cash and an award package, which includes a year long salary, a modeling portfolio by a leading New York City fashion photographer, casting opportunities, extensive travel with her personal travel manager, representing sponsors and charitable partners, and access to red carpet events including movie premiers and launch parties. NUMEROUS contestants have gone on to launch careers by appearing on television productions such as MTV, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, America’s Next Top Model, E! Entertainment Television, Entertainment Tonight, The Today Show, Survivor, The Amazing Race, numerous daytime Soap Operas, Prime Time Sitcoms, major motion pictures and more! Young women have also pursued their professional modeling careers with top talent and modeling agencies and advanced in other professional fields.
