Black dresses are great for networking events , mixers , work and can be flirty depending on how you dress them up . Always have something cute and flirty for date nights . It is also important to have outfits that are church-ready yet casual for brunch after church .
How do you choose what looks work for each client ?
I typically consult with the client , look at their social media , and develop their style . I also look at their body types , what they like to wear and what occasion they are going to . I want to get my clients to step outside of their comfort zone .
You style many people in the public eye ; do you consider yourself to be a trendsetter ?
I consider myself a trendsetter and influencer because I inspire people and motivate them to try different looks that they may not have looked for . My customers enjoy the looks that I put together and the personality that is behind the looks .
Describe a time early in your career where you felt you could say , ‘ I made it .
The time in my career when I felt like I made it was at my mentorship event this past June as it was a room with over 100 women that were there cheering me on , looking to me for advice , and wanting to gain knowledge from me . The second time I felt like I made it was recently when I was on the cover of Impact Magazine . We had a cover release party in Houston , and my family , friends , clients , and the team were cheering me on . There were previously many significant people on the cover of this magazine , and God saw fit for me to be on the cover .
