Why did you choose fashion designer / stylist as a career ?
Fashion has always been important to me and has been something that I was introduced to when I was a little girl . Through fashion , I feel as though I can help others with their confidence and feel good about themselves .
Who and which things are the inspiration while creating any design ?
By styling and selecting inventory for IMarE Boutique , I keep in mind the classy lady , the curvy woman , the woman with grace , the sophisticated woman , and a lady filled with confidence and on the go .
What is fashion for you ?
Fashion is a ministry because I ’ m able to help others gain confidence , inspire them , and no matter what size we are , we can still look and feel good .
Tell us something about your background ?
My background is I am a woman of faith who has overcome so much . My testimony consists of domestic violence , abuse , and a divorce . I ’ m a wife and a mother of 2 . I ’ m originally from Franklin , Louisiana , but I reside in Houston . During the pandemic , I opened The Glam House , which is a fullservice photo experience . I own IMare Boutique , and I ’ m the founder of a small business mentoring program where she has mentored over 125 women to help them succeed with their business goals .

Right now , for the current fashion season , everything is about feeling chill yet comfortable . It ’ s always safe to have a little black dress for any type of event .
