Busted : After having to wait for only half an hour it was finally time . Busted walks on stage and this time the whole room , now reasonably more filled , goes absolutely wild . When the band starts playing their breathtaking light show , consisting of multiple light pillars erected at the back of the stage perfectly underlines the very synth heavy opening track “ Kids with Computers ” and completely captivates the audience . But as enticing and interesting their light show is it can ’ t cover up the fact that the band ’ s live sound during their new songs is just way too polished and despite front man Charlie Simpson ’ s overall solid vocal performance it becomes apparent that the autotune they used on their opening track slips back into play more than once throughout the entire set that consists mostly of their new , electronic and synthetic songs . Their new tracks are just not strong enough to meet the expectations of the audience as everyone is still waiting for their most popular songs . Not even the fact that they play incredibly tightly and sound well rehearsed can change this . The band is aware of this fact , though , and weaves their old classics into the set list and is therefore able to give everyone what they wanted to hear , creating a sonic wall out of fans screaming in excitement . The power of nostalgia .
