THE CEREMONY
Nashwan and Raghda held their traditional Syriac Orthodox
ceremony at a church in Markham, Ontario, surrounded by family and
friends from Canada and the U.K. Since the building was brand new, a
minimal amount of decor was needed to enhance the setting. Two large
floral arrangements were placed beside the altar and fresh roses lined the
aisle where satin ribbons hung to the ground.
