Ebre Connect is for all English-speaking residents and tourists in and around L ’ Ametlla , L ’ Ampolla and El Perelló
This is the first ever issue of Ebre Connect .
For the past year we have existed online as a successful website bringing news and information to English-speakers in this area .
This magazine complements the website and in it we focus on what this area has to offer during the summer season .
We ’ ve got recommendations for great places to go for all of the family ( check out 10-year-old Alex ’ s favourite outings on page 14 ), as well as our readers ’ opinions on the finest local beaches .
On pages 8 and 9 , there ’ s a list of some of the best events that take place during July , August and September . These are genuinely important occasions for the Catalan people , so come along and experience the traditional culture of this area .
L ’ Ametlla , L ’ Ampolla and El Perelló are all proud of their gastronomic heritage and you can enjoy local seafood , rice dishes and much more at the many bars and restaurants in each town . On page 7 we take a closer look at one of the area ’ s most famous exports , El Perelló ’ s honey .
