What an exciting day for our dear Jimmy. We had a record
number of 41 visiting Nomads for the occasion. This is, in
itself, is a tribute to Jimmy. The game almost became a
Mini-Nationals! I ran a morning and afternoon field to
accommodate all the players.
Thank you to Cheryl for being up at the crack of dawn to
help me with the morning field and Cathy for helping with
the afternoon players. I am so lucky to have you in my team! I must admit that it was a very
long day for us, but well worth it when it so successful!
A very special, warm congratulations to Jimmy on his amazing achievement of playing 500
Nomads games and being a member for 45 years! We are all very proud of you and thank
you for all your input into Nomads over the years! Thank you to Kitty too …. I am sure that
you are the one that really deserves the gold medal!
