The Easter Bunny By Matthew Hood On a cold and frosty morning, Excited children ran outside, In hope of seeing the Easter bunny, But instead are greeted with chocolate eggs, Left behind by the mystical creature. Friend and family gather, Hunting for the eggs, Screaming with joy, With every one extra found. Later is a party, But no one is hungry, And all the eggs and chocolate lollies are gone. Feeling sick and tummy full, And mouths are filled with smiles. The next day is still amazing, Even though no friends are there, The remaining Easter eggs are yours, But which one will be first, And which one will be last, Which one will be left, And which one could be given to a friend.
